Producer’s notes
Budbreak was early and flowering went well. July was very dry but cool and August very hot and dry, so that by 10 September the potential was remarkable; the harvest, which began on 19 September, was then very rainy. The château finds the finesse, subtlety and charm of its very good vintages and a good overall balance, though less density and depth, and calls the wine very pleasant to drink now, with no rush.
