Producer’s notes
A favourable year. Autumn was rainy and cooler than average, and a harsh winter brought polar cold in February, down to -5 to -7°C. Spring was changeable, with temperatures near freezing in the middle of April. Summer heat arrived in late May with no rain until the middle of July, and temperatures returned to normal in the middle of August. The estate reports a perfect balance of ripeness in healthy grapes, picked by hand from early September to the first week of October, starting with the younger vineyards and ending with the hillside plots at around 400 metres.
