Producer’s notes
A mild, wet autumn and a dry, warm winter led to an early spring, before April rain restored water in the soils. May and June were unsettled, with cold spells and wind. The summer was warm but within the normal range, and rain in the middle of August refreshed the vines. The grapes were picked by hand from September to early October, starting with the lower vineyards.
