Penfolds Shiraz St. Henri 1998

To Order

Producer’s notes

Medium deep crimson. Roasted nut aromas of praline, chestnut and walnut sit over blackberry and mulberry. The palate is rich, with dark cherry and blackberry, fine chocolaty tannins and notes of walnut and liquorice, kept fresh by its acidity and finishing firm and long. Penfolds calls 1998 an outstanding vintage and gives a drinking window to 2040. The fruit came from Barossa Valley, Coonawarra, Eden Valley, McLaren Vale and Padthaway.
