Vineyard 29 Cabernet Sauvignon Aida Estate 2018

To Order

Producer’s notes

In 2018 a mild spring extended flowering and gave even clusters, and summer was warm and steady with few heat spikes. The harvest began about two weeks later than in previous years; the Aida grapes were picked from 25 to 28 September. The winery says the long harvest gave dense, concentrated wines with intense colour and an unusual freshness. It describes aromas of ripe blackcurrant, wild blackberry and sweet chocolate with spice and minerality; a very rich, juicy entry; firm, ripe tannins; and notes of crushed rock, earth, anise, violet and pencil shavings. 515 cases were made.
