Producer’s notes

The winery’s library note of October 2008 finds the wine mature, robust and somewhat earthy: dried bay and tea leaves, leather, menthol, smoke, forest floor and minerals, with cloves and spice, candied apple and brown sugar. Dark flavours roll through a nicely balanced, warm palate. Its advice: drink.
