Producer’s notes
An early budbreak, a long hang time, low yields and a smaller leaf canopy gave intense, concentrated fruit, picked on 23 September. The winery describes bright aromas of cranberry and chocolate, a palate densely packed with blue and black fruit, accented by cigar box and spice, and a long finish carried by minerality and very fine tannins. 307 cases were made.
