Producer’s notes
Ripe red and black fruit layered with roasted game, exotic and savoury spices and crème de cassis. The winery describes the wine as pure, intense and finely balanced. The 2014 season was temperate, with long, moderate days and cool, clear nights after a warm spring and early budbreak; steady, dry weather gave small berries of great concentration, and although yields were below those of 2013 the winery calls it a textbook growing season.
