Producer’s notes
Deep, smoky aromas and lush blackcurrant fruit, with a long, silky finish. A warm summer brought an early harvest and a large crop; immature clusters were removed to even out ripeness, and the leaf canopy was thinned to deepen colour. The grapes had slightly firmer tannins than the year before and much lower acidity, giving the wine balance and texture, and the winery expects it to age well for many years.
