Producer’s notes
Chapoutier makes this wine only from the Méal hillside, high terraces of shingle and clay, where the vines are about 50 years old. The grapes are picked by hand, fully destemmed and fermented in a small cement vat, only the free run juice is used, and the wine is clarified naturally.
