Producer’s notes
Deep, medium crimson. Intense dark cherry, blackberry and a hint of truffle on the nose, with roasted chestnut and chinotto. The palate is generously concentrated, with dark cherry, blackberry and dark plum, some leafy tobacco, fine chocolaty tannins and mocha and malt notes from the oak, and it finishes gravelly and mineral. The winery gives a drinking window of 2024 to 2038.
