Producer’s notes
The nose shows blackberry and blackcurrant with a smoky edge. On the palate the tannins are smooth and well structured, combining power with refinement, in what the château calls a classic, elegant Haut-Brion. The season was mixed until a very sunny September with cool nights brought the grapes to excellent ripeness. The harvest ran from 11 September to 10 October.
