Winemaker Christopher Carpenter finds that the wine has aged gracefully: aromas of dark cherry, sage, black pepper and toast, with flavours of bright fruit, Asian spice and espresso bean. The fruit still shines, the tannins have softened, and the savoury character that defined the 2011 vintage keeps developing; the winery sees decades of ageing ahead.
