Producer’s notes
All of the 2012 was grown on the estate on Pritchard Hill, on vines averaging 21 years old. The year was warmer and drier than usual, and the harvest came about five days early, with all the fruit picked by hand between 1 and 20 October. The estate describes a dense purple colour with a violet rim; black cherry and mulberry fruit with graphite and coffee; and a full bodied, opulent wine with a long, complex finish and a vibrant mineral core.
