Producer’s notes
Violet, plum and crème de cassis, with accents of five spice powder, black truffle, vanilla and minerals, and a lush feel in the mouth. With this vintage the blend returned its focus from Merlot to Cabernet Sauvignon, which the winery says adds a touch of brawn while fitting well into the finished wine. It notes that the wine was approachable from release and has kept impressing as it matured.
