Realm Cellars

Realm Cellars is a Napa Valley winery started in 2002 by two friends, Juan Mercado and Wendell Laidley. Scott Becker acquired the business in 2012. Realm began with no vineyards of its own and now has three estates.

Estates

  • Moonracer: in the Stags Leap District. Realm bought the Hartwell Estate there in December 2015, with its winery, caves and 15 acres of vineyards.
  • Farella: in Coombsville. Realm formed a partnership with Frank and Tom Farella in 2018 and completed the acquisition of the estate in 2026.
  • Houyi: on Pritchard Hill, acquired in June 2022.

Realm has also made wines from Beckstoffer To Kalon in Oakville, and from Beckstoffer Dr. Crane and Beckstoffer Bourn in St. Helena.
