The winemaker describes a powerhouse of rich flavours, dark cherry and raspberry with oak, framed by subtle tannins that add to a long finish. The wine comes from the red orange volcanic soils of Oakville Ranch in the Vaca Range, which the winery says give big, powerful, structured wines that are also lush and supple. 182 cases were made.
