Producer’s notes
The vineyard is named after Aubert’s late vineyard manager, Ulises Valdez Sr. (UV), and stands at his home estate on Stoetz Lane (SL), in the far west of the Sonoma Coast about six miles from the Pacific. Mark Aubert and Valdez planted it together, and it grows Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in warm afternoons cooled by ocean breezes.
