Powder House is Aubert’s fourth estate vineyard, in the old town of Forestville. The land is shaped like a bowl or amphitheatre with a gradual curve, and Aubert describes its Chardonnay as elegant yet powerful. The name comes from a neighbouring building that once stored gunpowder in these then remote hills.
