Producer’s notes
Winter brought rain and low temperatures, and an average spring gave a good fruit set. A rainy, warm September brought the harvest forward, in what was an early season with balanced yields; the grapes were picked by hand at an average of 3,000 kg per hectare. The vineyard lies at 500 metres in Laguardia, on deep clay and limestone, and is farmed without pesticides or herbicides. The winery describes a wine of deep sensations, with vibrant fruit, fibrous tannins and ripe flavours balanced by mineral precision. Bottled in July 2016.
