Toymaker Cellars

Toymaker Cellars was founded in 2011 to make a playful take on a serious Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, pairing winemaking with design. Its head winemaker is Martha McClellan. The fruit comes from a single, high hillside vineyard in the Diamond Mountain District, and production is limited to about 250 cases a year.

The wine is made with extended maceration and aged 28 months in oak barrels, then rests a further 18 months in bottle before release. Each vintage has a new label, made with a custom printing process, and the labels have featured vintage toys such as a 1930s Grand Prix racing car.
