SKLO
SKLO is a Singapore glassware brand, founded in 2022. Its name, pronounced "S-klo", is the Czech word for glass. Its glasses are hand-blown in the Czech Republic by Květná 1794, a Bohemian glassworks with more than 230 years of glassmaking behind it.
SKLO Evolution
SKLO Evolution is the first wine glass series designed in Singapore. SKLO developed it with the Sommelier Association of Singapore, drawing on 212 of its sommeliers, who judged each shape on its look, the wine's structure, aroma intensity and clarity of flavour, with Asian wine drinkers in mind. Over 30 weeks of mould making and blind testing with Květná's artisans, they settled on a tulip-shaped bowl and a very thin rim, shaped for how a wine opens on the nose, balances on the palate and lingers on the finish.
In 2025 the series won a Red Dot Design Award, the jury citing its proportions and its attention to the needs of Asian wine lovers.
