Ruinart
Ruinart is the oldest established Champagne house, founded in Reims in 1729. It is known for its focus on Chardonnay, its chalk cellars, cut deep below Reims, are part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the house is part of LVMH.
Dom Ruinart, the prestige cuvée named after Dom Thierry Ruinart, the monk whose nephew founded the house, is a Blanc de Blancs from grand cru Chardonnay, while Dom Ruinart Rosé adds Pinot Noir from Verzenay. Both age for years in the house's crayères.
