Prieuré Roch
Prieuré Roch was founded in 1988 by Henry-Frédéric Roch, joint manager of the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and a member of the Leroy family, and made natural, whole bunch Burgundy long before it was fashionable. Since his death in 2018, Yannick Champ has continued his approach.
The domaine owns two monopoles, the Clos Goillotte in Vosne-Romanée and the Clos des Corvées in Nuits-Saint-Georges, as well as parcels in Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots, Gevrey-Chambertin and Ladoix, including Le Cloud. The vines are farmed organically, the grapes ferment as whole bunches with native yeasts, and very little sulphur is used.
