Pol Roger

Pol Roger is a family owned house in Épernay, founded in 1849, and was Sir Winston Churchill's favourite Champagne. After his death the house created the Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill in his honour, first made in the 1975 vintage, and Pol Roger holds a Royal Warrant.

The house ages its wines in some of the deepest chalk cellars in Épernay, where the cool temperature gives a fine, persistent mousse. Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill is led by Pinot Noir from grand cru vineyards and made only in the finest years.
