Pierre Morey

Domaine Pierre Morey is a family domaine in Meursault, run by Pierre Morey, who for twenty years was also the winemaker at Domaine Leflaive, and now by his daughter Anne. Morey was one of Burgundy's early biodynamic growers, and his Meursault Perrières and Bâtard-Montrachet are classics.

The domaine farms biodynamically, with Bâtard-Montrachet, the Meursault premier crus Perrières and Charmes, village Meursault from named sites, and red Pommard and Volnay. The whites are fine and mineral, made with moderate oak and long lees ageing.
