Murmures

Murmures is the tiny Jura domaine of Emmanuel Lançon, who came from Provence, fell for the Jura's terroirs and launched his own wines in 2012. Following the philosophy of Pierre Overnoy and his circle, he makes some of the region's most sought after natural wines, in minute quantities.

From about two hectares of old, low yielding vines farmed without chemicals, Lançon grows Chardonnay and Savagnin for whites and Poulsard and Trousseau for reds. The grapes are picked by hand and fermented with native yeasts, with no added sulphur, no chaptalisation and no fining or filtration, then matured in old oak barrels.
