G.H. Mumm
G.H. Mumm, founded in Reims in 1827, is one of the best known Champagne houses, recognised by the red sash of its Cordon Rouge. Its prestige cuvée is named after René Lalou, who led the house for decades.
Mumm's own vineyards include grand crus such as Verzenay, Bouzy and Aÿ, and its style is led by Pinot Noir. René Lalou is a vintage blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from grand cru vineyards, aged for many years before release.
