Joseph Drouhin
Joseph Drouhin is a family house in Beaune, founded in 1880 and run today by the fourth generation of the Drouhin family. It is the exclusive maker of the Marquis de Laguiche Montrachet, one of the great white Burgundies, and its Musigny and Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses are among its finest reds.
Drouhin's own vineyards are farmed organically and biodynamically, with grand crus including Musigny, Bonnes Mares, Grands-Échezeaux, Chambertin-Clos de Bèze and Clos Vougeot, and the Beaune Clos des Mouches. Its cellars run beneath Beaune, partly in vaults of the former Dukes of Burgundy, and the family also owns Domaine Drouhin in Oregon.
