Hubert Lignier

Hubert Lignier is a family domaine in Morey-Saint-Denis, run by Laurent Lignier, whose Clos de la Roche is one of the benchmark wines of the grand cru. In 2017 Laurent created the MCMLV cuvée from 27 rows of Clos de la Roche planted in 1955 on their original rootstock, made in just two barrels to honour his grandfather.

The domaine farms about nine hectares organically and biodynamically, with grand crus in Clos de la Roche, Charmes-Chambertin and Griotte-Chambertin and many premier crus and village wines. The wines ferment with native yeasts in open cement tanks and are bottled without fining or filtration.
