Georges Mugneret-Gibourg
Georges Mugneret-Gibourg is a small family domaine in Vosne-Romanée, built by Dr Georges Mugneret, an eye doctor, and run for decades by his daughters Marie-Christine and Marie-Andrée, now joined by the next generation. Its wines are among the most graceful in the Côte de Nuits and are keenly sought.
The domaine holds grand crus in Ruchottes-Chambertin, Échezeaux and Clos Vougeot, the Nuits-Saint-Georges premier crus Les Chaignots and Les Vignes Rondes, and Vosne-Romanée village, including the named site La Colombière. The grapes are destemmed, and the wines show perfume, silk and precision.
