Georges Laval

Georges Laval is a tiny grower in Cumières, on the Marne, run by Vincent Laval and farmed organically for decades. Production is very small, and the Champagnes, made without dosage, are among the most sought after grower wines of the region.

The family farms a few hectares of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier on the south facing slopes of Cumières. The wines ferment in barrel with native yeasts and are bottled as Brut Nature, letting the ripe fruit of Cumières show without sugar.
