Egly-Ouriet

Egly-Ouriet is a grower house in Ambonnay, run by Francis Egly, whose rich, vinous Champagnes from grand cru Pinot Noir are among the most sought after in the region. Long lees ageing and low dosage give them great depth.

The family farms vines in Ambonnay, Bouzy and Verzenay, with very old Pinot Noir at the heart, along with Meunier in Vrigny. The wines ferment partly in barrel and age for years on their lees before disgorgement, and the Millésimé comes only from the best vintages.
