Domaine Dujac
Domaine Dujac was founded in Morey-Saint-Denis in 1968 by Jacques Seysses, who became famous for fermenting with whole bunches, a style that influenced a generation of growers. His sons Jeremy and Alec now run it with Jeremy's wife Diana, and its Clos de la Roche and Clos Saint-Denis are benchmarks for Morey.
The domaine farms organically and biodynamically, with grand crus in Clos de la Roche, Clos Saint-Denis, Bonnes Mares, Romanée-Saint-Vivant, Chambertin and Échezeaux, and premier crus in Morey, Gevrey, Chambolle and Vosne. The wines are perfumed and silky, with the spice and lift that whole bunch fermentation brings.
