Domaine Jamet
Domaine Jamet lies on the Le Vallin plateau, about four kilometres from Ampuis in the hills of Côte-Rôtie. Joseph Jamet made his first vintage in 1976, the year his son Jean-Paul began making wine with him. Jean-Paul's brother Jean-Luc worked alongside him for decades, and today Jean-Paul works the domaine with his wife Corinne and their son Loïc.
The Côte-Rôtie is blended from twenty parcels across fifteen sites, including Fongeant, Landonne and Chavaroche, and is made essentially from whole bunches. The Côte Brune, first made in 1976, is the domaine's only single-plot wine: 100% whole bunches, aged 24 months in barrel.
