Domaine de l'Arlot

Domaine de l'Arlot is a Nuits-Saint-Georges estate at Prémeaux and the owner of two walled monopoles: the Clos de l'Arlot, in red and in rare white, and the Clos des Forêts Saint-Georges. Owned since 1987 by AXA Millésimes, it also makes a celebrated Romanée-Saint-Vivant.

The Clos de l'Arlot rises in terraces behind the house, on limestone with patches of woodland, while the Clos des Forêts Saint-Georges lies on deeper soils just to the south. The estate also holds Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots. The vines are farmed organically, and the wines, made with a share of whole bunches, are fine and perfumed.
