Denis Bachelet

Domaine Denis Bachelet is a tiny cult domaine in Gevrey-Chambertin, now run by Denis Bachelet with his son Nicolas. Its Charmes-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes, from very old vines, is among the most sought after wines of Gevrey, and production is minuscule.

Bachelet farms only a few hectares, with Charmes-Chambertin, Gevrey-Chambertin Les Corbeaux and village Gevrey Vieilles Vignes at the core of the range. The wines are prized for their perfume, silky texture and purity of fruit rather than power.
