Château Pichon Baron

Château Pichon Baron is a Second Growth of Pauillac, known for its turreted château facing Pichon Comtesse across the road. Owned since 1987 by AXA Millésimes, it has become one of the most consistent and powerful wines of Pauillac.

The finest parcels lie on deep gravel next to Château Latour, and the grand vin comes from the oldest Cabernet Sauvignon vines on these slopes. The wine matures in a high share of new oak, and the second wines are Les Tourelles de Longueville and Les Griffons de Pichon Baron.
