Château Giscours

Château Giscours is a Third Growth of Margaux and one of the largest estates in the Médoc, owned since 1995 by the family of the Dutch businessman Eric Albada Jelgersma, who restored it. Its 19th century château and English style park are among the grandest in Bordeaux.

The vineyard lies on gravel ridges in the south of the Margaux appellation, led by Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, and the wine is generous and perfumed in the Margaux manner. The second wine is La Sirène de Giscours.
