Château Branaire-Ducru
Château Branaire-Ducru is a Fourth Growth of Saint-Julien, across the road from Château Beychevelle, owned since 1988 by the Maroteaux family. Its wines are known for their charm and finesse, and have gained in depth over the past two decades.
The vineyard lies on deep gravel close to the Gironde, planted mostly to Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The second wine is Duluc de Branaire-Ducru.
