Chappellet

Donn and Molly Chappellet founded the first new winery on Pritchard Hill in 1967, and their mountain Cabernets helped make it one of Napa's most prized addresses. The family still owns and runs the estate.

The Pritchard Hill Estate Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the family's terraced vineyards at up to about 1,800 feet, on rocky volcanic soils above Lake Hennessey. Low yields and cool mountain nights give a wine of concentration and firm structure, built for long ageing.
