Bouchard Père et Fils
Bouchard Père et Fils is one of Burgundy's oldest houses, founded in 1731 and based in the 15th century Château de Beaune, with one of the largest vineyard holdings on the Côte d'Or. Its Montrachet and Chevalier-Montrachet La Cabotte are among its most celebrated wines, and for many years it sold La Romanée from the Liger-Belair family's vines.
Bouchard owns grand cru parcels in Montrachet, Chevalier-Montrachet, Corton-Charlemagne, Bonnes Mares, Chambertin, Échezeaux and Corton, and premier crus such as Beaune Grèves Vigne de l'Enfant Jésus. Its cellars in the Château de Beaune hold a library of old vintages going back to the 19th century.
