Arnoux-Lachaux
Arnoux-Lachaux, formerly Domaine Robert Arnoux, was transformed after Charles Lachaux took over in 2012 and is now one of Burgundy's most talked about names. He stopped trimming the tops of the vines, raised the canopies and turned to whole bunch fermentation, for wines of new finesse and energy.
The domaine holds Romanée-Saint-Vivant, Clos Vougeot, Échezeaux and Latricières-Chambertin, the Vosne-Romanée premier crus Les Suchots, Aux Reignots and Les Chaumes, and the Nuits-Saint-Georges premier crus Les Procès and Corvées Pagets. Its Bourgogne Pinot Fin shows the house style at an accessible level.
