Antoine Robles
Domaine Antoine Robles makes wines in the Jura, in eastern France, under the Côtes du Jura appellation. Its wines from the Clos des Vallières are bottled by grape variety: Poulsard, also called Ploussard, and Trousseau, the two native red grapes of the Jura, and Chardonnay. There is also a Pinot Noir.
Fermentation is spontaneous, with the grapes' own yeasts, ageing is moderate, and the wines are made with as little intervention as possible. Poulsard gives a pale, light red, and the Clos des Vallières Poulsard is bottled at around 11.5% alcohol.
