Alain Hudelot-Noëllat

Alain Hudelot-Noëllat is a Vougeot domaine with a remarkable run of grand crus, now led by Alain Hudelot's grandson Charles van Canneyt, who took over in 2008 and has raised it to the front rank. Its Romanée-Saint-Vivant and Richebourg are the stars.

Besides Romanée-Saint-Vivant and Richebourg, the domaine holds Clos Vougeot, the Vosne-Romanée premier crus Les Suchots, Les Beaumonts and Les Malconsorts, Chambolle-Musigny Les Charmes and Nuits-Saint-Georges Les Murgers. Charles favours a share of whole bunches and moderate new oak, for wines of perfume and silk.
