Aubert describes CIX as the second estate vineyard it developed, named after its parcel number, 109, on the vineyard map. It shares its eastern fence line with the Lauren estate and has very white soil that the winery likens to sea salt. Most of it is planted to Chardonnay, with a little Pinot Noir.
